New Moon or a Solar Eclipse.

Hey guys, haven't posted in about 2 days. Well I am back. Today I want to post about the new Twilight movie New Moon.
I think New Moon was one of the best Twilight books and it was very creative in a sense. Edward leaves Bella, Jacob picks up where he left off, then he comes back, etc. This book also, had a lot more Jacob than Edward and so was the first with more Edward than Jacob. This creates tension in a way.
New Moon was all about Bella be heartbroken about Edward and finding a release of some sort. She turned to adrenaline rush. Thus the conflict in the book/movie as well as Edward thinking she is dead and trying to get himself killed.

Will New Moon be better than the book?
Honestly, it is about how you take it. From the trailers I have seen and the work they have been putting in all I know is that it is looking very good. I also, like the fact that the wolves don't look like the traditional werewolves like so many directors go for. They actually look like over grown wolves.

Should I see this movie?
Of course you should if you are a fan. I am going with a group of friends. Ha ha though it will be a debate on 2012 and New Moon because we haven't seen 2012 yet. So yes just go see it.

Well that concludes this post and I hope to get back into my normal pattern of post. These last few days were amazing but take away from my blog.

Fun Fact: Did you know in about a billion years the sun will burn out because it's a star? Wow something new to me. The world will just have a "moon". But the crazy thing is the world will crash into the sun before it burns out.

Book to Movie

Hello, fellow vampires and wizards. Ha ha.
Today I felt I should share my opinion of the movies. To start the only reason why I put Harry Potter and Twilight movies is because we all know the Eragon 1 film was an epic fail. So let's begin.

Harry Potter 1-6 movies held true to the series in a sense. The movies were a good mirror of the books because I felt the actors developed with the characters in the story in just the way they should. Another good thing is the storyline followed the books with not a lot of tweaking, even though when they did tweak it, it was a part I wanted to see. Which sucked. The films, also provide those who can't truly visualize the characters with a little visualization. In other terms it puts a face to a name. But there is some fun with visualizing what they look like in your head and then see how other people visualized them in the movie. For example, I thought of Fernir different than what they showed me. Guess they showed me. No pun intended, though it was kind of intended.
Now for the Twilight movie(s). As of right now there is only one with another right down the street. The Twilight movie is very good. I really liked it, because it has a certain feel to it. Hard to explain. But, with Twilight they were almost exactly how I pictured them. One thing that sets Twilight apart from the way Harry Potter flowed with its books to films are I could actually recommend Twilight the movie and not the book at all. Though I do not recommend this. It takes away from you. Also, Twilight movies have a stellar actor playing lead. Not saying Harry Potter doesn't but Kirsten Stewart has the role locked. She is so convincing and Robert Pattinson isn't to shabby either. Twilight also incorperates the mood of Twilight into the film. That is usually hard for films to do. Also New Moon is going to be awesome. This film looks spectacular from trailers I have seen. They have a great cast, and the fighting looks amazing. New Moon is sure to be a hit.

So that is my two cent, but as always I want to hear what you think.

Age old Debate. . . Or maybe just a 21st century one.

So which is better Harry Potter, Eragon, or Twilight?
This is a tough one so let's analyze this.
First, you have Harry Potter, the boy who lived. Harry's life is very interesting and also full of excitement. In mere hours he went from being an unwanted orphan to a wizard celebrity. Talk about rags to riches, literally, he was poor and then found out he had a vault full of gold. But let's not forget his trusty friends Ronald Weasley and Hermione Granger, who have been with him since his first day of school. Harry Potter is a series that highlights growth, destinies entwined, and the cliche Dark vs Light, although this series is anything but cliche.
Next, on to the Twilight series. Vampires, Vampires, Vampires. It seems the whole world has been over run with this mania of vampires and Twilight has a little, if not a lot, to do with it. The Twilight series is a story of human and vampire love, with a werewolf as a distraction. Bella and Edward should not be together, but they are a bit hard of hearing, even with Edwards keen ears. They are opposite and Bella runs the risk of being Edwards "snack" anytime. But that's what makes this story so enticing. The daring of those two and their struggle to make an unlikely relationship work. Note, Vampires are a win-win no matter what. They are the king of cool in mythical realms.
Finally, Eragon the Dragon-Rider. Eragon is the story of a farm boy turned Dragon-Rider and the hope of his world. Sounds good huh? Yeah, it supposed to. This book is so rich with description and magic it is hard to describe. Think of that, you can't describe something with so much description. Eragon is set a world where a Ex-Dragon-Rider is a monarch, who has had free reign over them for about 40+ years. Then Eragon comes and challenges all of that. The series, which is unfinished, has something a lot of books do not have. The sense that it is a real world. Alagaësia is full of different races, languages, alliances, and beast. This gives it more credibility when you're reading it. It seems like it is real, and that's what I look for, even in fictional books.

So which is better? Which author deserves more credit?
Honestly I can only answer for myself. But I am very interested in hearing what you have to say.
So post comments and tell me what you think.
