Sorry, Sorry, and Sorry

For the little followers I have managed to accumulate, I am sorry for not posting in forever! I mean Edward hasn't even lived as long as it has taken me to make a new post. The reason being, I was and still am being pummeled with so much work. AP Literature, AP US History, SAT Prep, ACT Study group, and tons of other things! Yes! And I'm not even a senior, but enough of my rambling . I would like to say I am back, to those who still BELIEVE! Believe in what you ask? Harry Potter, Eragon, and Edward of course. Ha, well it is nice to be back and I will try to post once a day, if time permits it. On that note, Fear well. Don't ask.

Tales of Beedle the Bard

Hey vamps, dragon-riders, and wizards.
I was just wondering if any of you heard of J.K Rowling's Harry Potter spin-off book.
It is the book from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, that Dumbledore gave Hermione.
J.K rowling filled it with a collection of wizard tales and such that Ron grew up reading. This book is a great way to stay connected to the Harry Potter world. I heard of this book about 4 months ago, but didn't believe my friend who told me about it. I was like"Yeah, whatever, J.K Rowling made another Harry Potter book,?" Ah, but I was both right and wrong. She didn't make another Harry Potter book, she made a book that was mentioned in Harry Potter. Ha ha.
You guys should really check this book out. I highly recommend it. Though I am not finished reading it, due to essays and girlfriend problems, from what I read it is very engaging. So check it out. I will have my own review of the book when I finished reading it so if you're shaky on reading it you can find out a little more from me.

Here's something that got me thinking. . .
Now that Rowling has made a book mentioned in Harry Potter, will she make others like that. Say for instance "A History of Hogwarts" or maybe "The Life and Lies of Albus Dumbledore". The two books would be best sellers if she made them and a fun thing to read. I am hoping Rowling writes these two books for our entertainment.

Fun Fact: Did you know J.k Rowling was born July 31 the same day Harry Potter was born in the book? Ha ha talk about being attached to main characters.

New Moon or a Solar Eclipse.

Hey guys, haven't posted in about 2 days. Well I am back. Today I want to post about the new Twilight movie New Moon.
I think New Moon was one of the best Twilight books and it was very creative in a sense. Edward leaves Bella, Jacob picks up where he left off, then he comes back, etc. This book also, had a lot more Jacob than Edward and so was the first with more Edward than Jacob. This creates tension in a way.
New Moon was all about Bella be heartbroken about Edward and finding a release of some sort. She turned to adrenaline rush. Thus the conflict in the book/movie as well as Edward thinking she is dead and trying to get himself killed.

Will New Moon be better than the book?
Honestly, it is about how you take it. From the trailers I have seen and the work they have been putting in all I know is that it is looking very good. I also, like the fact that the wolves don't look like the traditional werewolves like so many directors go for. They actually look like over grown wolves.

Should I see this movie?
Of course you should if you are a fan. I am going with a group of friends. Ha ha though it will be a debate on 2012 and New Moon because we haven't seen 2012 yet. So yes just go see it.

Well that concludes this post and I hope to get back into my normal pattern of post. These last few days were amazing but take away from my blog.

Fun Fact: Did you know in about a billion years the sun will burn out because it's a star? Wow something new to me. The world will just have a "moon". But the crazy thing is the world will crash into the sun before it burns out.

Eragon Movie's

¡Hola! Mi amigos.
Today, I want to talk about Eragon the movie and why there won't or should not be anymore movies. Eragon the movie had so many plot holes.
To start:

  1. There were no Dwarves. What the f***? They are a major race and ultimately it can't go on because Eragon needed them.
  2. Eragon doesn't get the scar on his back from Durza. So what will Eragon be struggling with in Eldest? And the Blood Festival has no real meaning if Eragon doesn't get the cut.
  3. Katrina wasn't even in the movie. That is huge right there because Roran revolves around her and Eragon revolves around him and the movie revolves around him. Ha ha might be hard for you to understand that.
  4. Murtagh wasn't even captured by the twins, who weren't even in there, so who will Eragon fight at the end of Eldest?
That is just a few reasons why Eragon can not go on as movie unless they redo the first one which I am hoping they will. Eragon was a good movie in a sense but what I am getting at is they didn't leave any room for the sequel and those others that follow. They should have waited a good while before trying to make some money off the book and gave the viewers and fans a exceptional movie.
All in all, it could have been much better.
No me gusta Eragon movie!

Twilight Poem

Here's a Twilight poem I made in English class today. I just thought I would share it with you seeing how this blog has an aspect of Twilight.
Here goes:

Irresistible, intangible, unknown.
Or is it, that maybe, I have lost my soul,
No it is as I say,
You are as I describe.
A vampire whos life and heart, took mine.

Ha, it is a little rough, but it was just for an assignment. I am not a romantic so
this was best I could do for Twilight. Anyway I like it and I hope you do as well.
I will add more poetry to as well to break from my norm.

Also, make sure you comment and tell me what you thought.

Eragon Characters. . .

Well as I promised or said, more Eragon content and this is something I have been eager to write, but I was very busy with Harry Potter Greatest Moments Part 1, 2, and 3. I am going to breakdown my 3 favorite characters and explain why they are my favorite characters and give you more info on them.

Eragon: Eragon is my favorite character for more obvious reasons. He is the stories protagonist and has an heroic air about him. But that is not entirely it about him. The thing that makes him my favorite character and such a powerful figure is what he was and what he has come to be. In the first book of the series titled "Eragon". He was just a farm boy in the very beginning and his only worries were helping his uncle and cousin and keeping himself feed. Eragon led a normal life and was content with it, though he loved stories Brom told about the Riders of the old times. And then all of a sudden a he finds a egg. That egg changed his life, for that egg held his destiny and lineage. When I read to this point I was hooked. Throughout the story Eragon holds true to his self and learns very fast, about the ways of a world he never dreamed existed.

Roran: This guy! Roran is a rough guy who cares for his people, his cousin Eragon, and beloved wife Katrina. Roran didn't play a major part in the first book, but in the next books he starts to grow. Roran is a man with power and quick wit. Roran starts fighting to protect his homeland, but as the fighting continues and he must escape with all the villagers, he experiences a change. He starts to like war in a way though he is opposed to killing. This eternal battle is the main reason why I like him. He is gentle and kind on the inside, though that doesn't come across much, and he is rough and tough on the outside. What also makes Roran such a spectacular character is the fact that he is a normal human in Eragon's world and doesn't have half the power they have, but all the same he fights as hard. He even acquired the nickname Stronghammer because of his signature weapon and the strength at which he brings it down on his foes. Roran is normal, but can fight as if he was a god when the times counts itself convenient.

Murtagh: WHAT?!?! I bet this is the reaction I just got. Ha ha. Yes, I stick by my choice. Murtagh is one of my favorite characters. Despite popular belief Murtagh is not evil at all. He is being forced to be what he is even if he isn't exactly against it. Murtagh is a powerful character who is on the brink of self destruction because of Galbatorix. He has lost hope and has turned to his hatred, but he isn't truly lost in his heart. When Eragon told him he could change who his "name" and break free from Galbatorix he is hopeful and is ready to do it, but then is reminded on why it probably will fail and all hope leaves his mind. He is a complex character who is struggling to be good when it is obvious that option has been taking off the table long ago. But he is trying all the same. For example, he saved Eragon's life after their first official battle which did great harm to him. Murtagh is a very important character and throughout the rest of the series I hope to see him play a big role and ultimately change and break away from Galbatorix all together.

Well this concludes my post, but make sure you comment below:

  1. Your top favorite character.
  2. Your second favorite character.
  3. Your the third favorite character.
